The Evo 4G and MyTouch 4G seem to perform about 10 FPS slower than other phones of similar spec. The reason seems to be due to clearing the instruction cache, a software technique needed by this type of code. The same issue can be seen in GameBoid which uses this technique. We are looking into ways to resolve this.
Recent changes: - Fixed landscape <-> portrait orientation change bug. - Added a "cycle multiplier" option to increase the internal PSX cycle count to improve performance in many games. This variable is now stored in your save states. Too high of a cycle setting can break games, too low a setting can slow games down. Test games on the default or lower. - Worked on sound quality. Hopefully it sounds better on more phones as I test more out. - Experimental fix for Nexus S / Gingerbread users.
